that work the way you do

Skills: your procedure,
in plain language

A skill is reusable instructions for finance work, written in plain language your assistant follows. It says which accounts to read, how to split, what to show the reviewer, and can be reviewed and adapted for the next period.

The procedure is flexible, the control is fixedA skill supplies instructions, not extra privileges. Actions use the caller’s permissions and applicable approvals. Changing configuration still requires the appropriate administrator access.
ArtifactsOutputs you keep: reports, analyses, summaries. They are produced by skills and workflows and linked to the records they explain, such as the allocation summary saved with the journal it supports.
Versioned and inspectableA skill is a document with steps, references and limits. Your team edits it, every version is kept, and a run names the version it followed.
Not a separate execution engineSkills work through the same tools and permissions as a person. Whatever the instructions say, the ledger’s controls still decide what posts.
Start from what shipsArfiti generates a skill for your organisation with its accounts, tax codes and terms, plus procedures for the close and onboarding and role guides for the team. Edit from there.

Plugins: packaged
procedures you install

Plugins are packaged procedures and policies you can install and adapt. Each bundles skills, reference data and tool contracts for a domain, such as financial reports, budgeting, cost allocation or an Estonian VAT return, and acts only through the shared controls.

Domain knowledge, packagedA plugin gives your assistant the reporting formats, tax rules and filing steps for one job. Install it from the admin dashboard or your AI tool; the ledger stays the same.
The engine lives in coreThe plugin carries the procedure and the calculation; the ledger stores the runs, validates the balance and posts the journal. Customise the logic without touching the controls.
Country packsEstonia today: VAT return, payroll and TSD, annual report and XBRL, year-end bookkeeping. Core captures classifications and filing forms; a pack maps them to the local authority’s formats.

Business policies
you edit, with history

Thresholds, routes and rules your administrators change without code. Raise the review threshold for a trusted supplier category and the change is logged with who made it; skills read the policies, controls enforce them.

Configuration, not codeApproval routes and thresholds, required dimensions, posting profiles and number series are settings an administrator edits in the dashboard or through your assistant. Each change keeps who made it and when.
